Why Inspect A Home Before You Sell It?

When you sell your home, you want to get the most money you can and make the sale as quickly as possible. Having a detailed home inspection by a state licensed home inspector prior to putting the home on the market can increase the value of your home by showing buyers that you care enough to insure the home is in the best shape it can be.

If the buyers get a home inspection and you did not, depending on the timing of the inspection and the closing date, you are left with the task of quickly finding a qualified plumber or carpenter or electrician or other contractor to fix the problems in a very short period of time at what may be elevated fees. If someone cannot be found or repairs cannot be completed in time for the closing, you may miss the sale.
